The Top Gear mystery remains: “Who is the Stig?” Since last year we can pop another question: “Where’s Stig?” In the book by illustrator Rod Hunt, you need to spot the popular racing driver of the Top Gear team. And take our word for it: this doesn’t come easy, as Hunt’s artworks are complex illustrations with loads of detail.

Official Classic is two talented illustrators, vector artists and graphic & type designers from Budapest, Hungary. Márk Zádor and Attila Horváth are big fanatics of forms and colors, old school game consoles and future computers, stickers and graffiti. After working years for various local agencies, they started their own studio in 2008.

This week we're featuring Siggeir Hafsteinsson, from Reykjavik, Iceland. Sig runs his own Advertising Agency now after being a succesful graphic designer for a couple of years. Based in Madrid, Vicente Garcia Morillo likes breaking the rules of graphic design and typography. Vincente’s energetic artworks are inspired by his obsession for electronic music and iconic typo’s. His graphic design flyers and posters write the dictionary between the language of art and the bold statements of nowadays multimedia culture.

Avatar, currently the 3rd succesful film of all time has made a quite an impression on its viewers. It seems a lot of people are leaving the theatre with a feeling of guilt towards nature and the environment in general. But that's not all. It looks like the stunning visuals of the hottest and most popular movie of the moment has brought tons of inspiration to the design world.

This week we head over to the Netherlands where Martijn van Dam impresses us with his digital drawing skills. Martijn aka Supersilo works at Momkai, an interactive agency based in Amsterdam. He's got a very clean technical drawing style, almost like an architect or ingeneer, but developed it to his true trademark.
